Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to integrate Appian with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Create Appian integrations and Web APIs to ensure secure data exchange.

• Implement secure system interactions using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams for enterprise systems, including PeopleSoft teams, to establish service requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or above.

• Proficient in SQL with advanced skills in complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must possess at least a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience is required.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly desirable.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript for custom plugin development is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
