Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs to facilitate secure data exchange.

• Implement secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft ERP or Oracle.

• Work closely with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Deliver secure, high-quality solutions within Agile/DevOps or Center of Excellence environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Proficient in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must hold a minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
