Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services

• Create architectures for Custom Data Types and Record Types that map to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions, including employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates

• Build Appian Web APIs that allow PeopleSoft to transmit real-time data updates and event notifications into Appian

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems

• Implement secure authentication methods using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication

• Develop automation solutions that connect Appian and PeopleSoft ERP

• Work collaboratively with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 10%

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later

• Advanced SQL proficiency; PL/SQL knowledge is preferred

• In-depth understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• U.S. Citizenship is required

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required

• Preferred: experience with Appian Data Fabric

• Preferred: experience in Java or JavaScript for custom plugins

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces

• Experience collaborating with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements

• Background in a Center of Excellence or Agile/DevOps environment

• Must be eligible to reside in one of the following states: Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, or New Jersey
