This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure timely processing of monthly company expenses, including payments to suppliers, professional services, real estate leases, and government tax authorities.
• Reconcile AutoDesk and NetSuite accounts payable data and investigate any discrepancies.
• Match vendor aging reports with accounts payable ledger details and document any approved exceptions.
• Follow the monthly accounts payable close schedule and record month-end vendor invoice accruals.
• Enhance and standardize accounts payable processes within the newly integrated NetSuite ERP system.
• Ensure that vendor invoice approval workflows are properly documented, adhered to, and advanced in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate vendor information across systems, including contact details and payment terms.
• Review contracts and leases to confirm invoice compliance with contractual obligations.
• Engage with vendors to resolve issues and create vendor statements as necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders regarding contractors, budgeting, and expenditures.
• Prepare supporting schedules required by lenders and private equity firms.
• Assist the Accounting team with financial reporting, ledger analysis, and auditor inquiries.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is mandatory.
• Experience with ERP integration is highly advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• Experience in the real estate or construction sector is beneficial.
• Familiarity with financial institutions and regulatory agencies is beneficial.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and work demands.
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and manage workload.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues, management, and vendors.
