Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement intricate data models for dashboards, self-service analytics, and data science teams.

• Develop highly optimized, scalable SQL queries for extensive, diverse data warehouses.

• Facilitate AI tools using semantic layers and observability.

• Advise analytics operations on best practices.

• Oversee and enhance data infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making solutions.

• Assist in developing front-end applications that provide analytical datasets throughout the enterprise.

• Collaborate with Product and Corporate Engineering system teams to organize source systems for reporting use across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in data-related roles, with at least two years in Software Engineering or a similar field.

• Proficiency with popular analytics tools; experience with dbt is essential.

• Familiarity with Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, and Looker/Mode/Sigma.

• System-oriented mindset with a strong software engineering background.

• Extensive knowledge of designing dimensional and fact models in modern data methodologies.

• Enthusiasm for enhancing the developer experience in data.

• Commitment to leading the industry in security, anonymization, and compliance management for data warehousing.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

• Willingness to leverage AI to enhance skills and improve work, coupled with curiosity, a desire to learn, and sound judgment in responsibly applying AI.
