Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive technical delivery for intricate, multi-phase, or tailored customer projects.

• Convert unclear business requirements into scalable analytics frameworks.

• Guide and evaluate less-experienced Analytics Engineers.

• Create reusable patterns, templates, and tools.

• Act as a senior escalation resource for technical, integration, and solution-design issues.

• Build strong relationships with customer advocates and end-users through solution design, implementation support, and technical guidance.

• Identify high-value use cases connected to customer workflows and goals.

• Formulate and execute strategic plans for Seeq adoption and successful use case completion.

• Counsel customers on the implementation and operationalization of use cases to achieve ROI.

• Occasionally engage in hands-on delivery for key use cases.

• Enhance Seeq’s partner ecosystem to assist customers globally and in localized languages.

• Maintain expertise in the product, covering platform implementation, troubleshooting, and integrations.

• Identify product capability deficiencies and provide feedback for the roadmap.

• Position Seeq’s advantages in comparison to competing products.

• Collaborate with the product team to design, implement, and test new features.

• Utilize industry-specific knowledge and work with industry leaders, product marketing, and solution consulting to shape strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical discipline such as chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; degrees in operations research, data analytics, or applied mathematics will also be considered.

• At least 7 years of experience in process engineering, reliability engineering, technical pre-sales engineering (preferably in SaaS or the OT sector), or other relevant industry fields.

• Profound technical knowledge in one or more industrial process manufacturing sectors, along with a solid understanding of overarching market drivers and business priorities.

• Experience in industrial process industries like oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power & utilities, metals & mining, food & beverage, or pulp & paper.

• Proven experience addressing real-world business and industrial challenges involving complex time-series process data and analytics tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, or BI tools.

• Capability to establish trust and rapport with customers, potential clients, partners, and internal multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient and persuasive technical communication with subject matter experts, managers, directors, and C-level executives.

• Ability to devise and propose technical solutions utilizing current software and technology capabilities.

• Capacity to independently prioritize tasks based on account team strategies, customer business needs, and Seeq objectives.

• Prior experience with Seeq is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Python programming is an advantage.

• Extensive knowledge of the SaaS industrial analytics landscape, including platforms like Azure, AWS, Databricks, AVEVA, Aspen Tech, IOTA, Cognite, C3.ai, and Palantir is a plus.

• Must be authorized to work in the country where you reside.
