Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the corporate analytics framework, transforming existing platform data into reliable, organized, and metrics-focused assets.

• Analytics Modeling & Metrics: Create and refine dimensional and metric-oriented models.

• Establish and standardize corporate KPIs.

• Construct data marts tailored to business domains.

• Define and maintain a semantic layer for use by BI tools and analytical applications.

• Document business rules and metric calculations.

• Solution and Data Product Development: Design and improve data products based on validated metrics.

• Generate analytics-ready datasets for use.

• Create dependable data foundations to support AI initiatives and predictive models.

• Collaborate with business sectors to develop data-driven solutions.

• Quality, Governance & Performance: Implement quality assurance tests within the analytics framework.

• Ensure traceability and consistency of metrics.

• Maintain optimal performance for analytical usage.

• Strategic Engagement: Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Finance to establish strategic metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for the development and optimization of data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of distributed Big Data concepts and practices, including both batch and real-time processing.

• Experience in performance optimization and query tuning in Redshift and Spark environments.

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (relational, dimensional, and lakehouse).

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DataOps/DevOps methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, technical leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.

• Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with a focus on technical excellence.
