Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable dimensional data models and marts utilizing dbt.

• Expand and improve Forward's semantic layer and metrics standards.

• Contribute to the establishment of the data foundation that fuels AI at Forward.

• Propel Forward's vision for data centralization.

• Serve as the main point of contact with the Data Science team.

• Work closely with the Data Engineering team.

• Collaborate with Core Technology teams regarding internal application schema modifications.

• Partner with the DevOps team.

• Enhance team code quality by acting as a technical reviewer.

• Assess, integrate, and operationalize valuable third-party data sources.

• Advocate for data governance and quality throughout the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.

• More than 2 years of practical experience in developing and maintaining production-level data transformation pipelines using dbt or similar scripting in Python.

• At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.

• Advanced skills in SQL and dimensional data modeling.

• Proven ability to swiftly translate complex business needs and unclear requirements into effective, scalable technical data solutions.
