Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the implementation of new data models within a contemporary technology framework.

• Engaging with stakeholders across various business sectors to gather their needs and deliver suitable solutions.

• Enhancing current data models in accordance with product and engineering directives.

• Maintaining compliance with data governance standards.

• Aiding the BI and Analytics teams by providing essential data sources for their projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of SQL (including Common Table Expressions and window functions).

• Proven experience in writing efficient queries, ideally using Snowflake.

• Familiarity with transformation tools; experience with Coalesce.io is preferred, though proficiency in DBT would also be advantageous.

• Ability to model both structured and unstructured data.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within a start-up or scale-up setting.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with data quality frameworks is a plus.

• Understanding of finance, credit, and related reporting processes.

• Background in collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

• Knowledge of testing standards and version control methodologies.

• Experience with orchestration tools.
