Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategically enhance our Data Warehouse.

• Develop strong data models, uphold high quality standards, implement efficient transformations, and maintain a reliable warehouse for the business.

• Assume technical leadership of our Data Warehouse, proactively advancing its architecture, data models, and quality benchmarks.

• Utilize dbt in a strategic manner.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our Redshift-based warehouse.

• Create new data pipelines while ensuring clean orchestration and stable operation in Airflow.

• Establish best practices for governance and observability; set standards for data quality, ownership, monitoring, and documentation; ensure early detection and reliable resolution of issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar capacity.

• Exceptional SQL proficiency.

• Comfortable and experienced in using dbt.

• Expertise in data modeling, complex transformations, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or similar technologies.

• Ideally experienced with Airflow, monitoring, and the dependable operation of data workflows.

• An inquisitive mindset about business processes.

• A dedication to actively influencing the governance, quality, and transparency of a data platform.
