This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist in shaping the client’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by ensuring alignment among sales, demand, supply, and inventory planning within a manufacturing setting.

• Work together with business stakeholders to evaluate existing planning methodologies, pinpoint gaps, and establish planning requirements, KPIs, and reporting priorities.

• Convert S&OP needs into analytical data models and Power BI dashboards that facilitate demand and supply balancing, enhance inventory visibility, and support plan-versus-actual analysis.

• Identify and integrate data from Dynamics 365 and other business systems into Microsoft Fabric.

• Partner with the ERP implementation team to ensure analytics solutions are in sync with business processes and data structures introduced through the Dynamics 365 migration.

• Validate data and analytical outputs alongside business users, investigate any discrepancies, and assist in solution adoption during regular S&OP reviews.

• Design and develop analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

• Create and optimize data processing solutions using Spark and SQL.

• Contribute to the implementation of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture, including Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold).

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in implementing or enhancing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes in a manufacturing context, covering demand and supply planning, inventory management, and coordination between sales and operations.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Proficiency in D365 data analysis and data modeling.

• Strong expertise in Spark and SQL.

• Familiarity with Lakehouse, DWH concepts, and data modeling.

• Experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold).

• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level.
