Analytics Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously enhance analytics and reporting solutions.

• Oversee ETL processes, data warehouses, cubes, dashboards, and model deployment.

• Lead projects and create technology roadmaps.

• Design, validate, and assess solutions utilizing R, Python, SQL, and other programming tools.

• Create and implement pricing optimization algorithms and rules-based pricing suggestions.

• Develop and execute architecture, tools, and processes that support a unified source of truth and enable self-service analytics.

• Formulate and oversee comprehensive project plans to guarantee timely delivery.

• Educate and guide team members on data, reports, and tools.

• Compose ETL scripts using SSIS or similar tools for data ingestion and processing into the data warehouse.

• Establish automated processes using Excel, SQL, and VBA to streamline data transfer across teams.

• Create dashboards and tools for users to access and engage with data.

• Implement in-database machine learning solutions utilizing SQL Server and R/Python.

• Maintain system and tool documentation.

• Perform additional job-related tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree.

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics).

• 5 years of proven experience with relational databases in the development of ETL processes and implementation of data and analytics solutions.

• 5 years of experience maintaining databases and tools in a production setting, including query performance tuning and proactive maintenance.

• Proven expertise in formal software development methodologies.

• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining pricing optimization and/or operational efficiency algorithms in cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS) and/or enterprise IT ecosystems.

• 5 years of advanced programming experience in SQL and R or Python, deploying analytics models and tools in production environments with relational databases.

• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL queries.

• Proficiency in R or Python within data science and/or engineering contexts.

• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

• Proficiency with source control (e.g., GitHub, SVN, Tortoise) in a multi-developer environment.

• Proficiency in cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS).
