Senior Analytics Engineer, Analytics Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout Fullscript to identify recurring data requirements, self-service gaps, and patterns that can be addressed through shared tools and reusable resources.

• Create and implement self-service analytics solutions, including trusted datasets, reporting foundations, templates, and workflows that facilitate easier access to and use of data independently.

• Enhance the visibility and consumption of data through BI tools and internal systems, prioritizing usability, consistency, trust, and user adoption.

• Utilize SQL, Python, and BI platforms like Looker to develop scalable solutions, including AI-driven analytics tools created in-house.

• Develop and provide training, documentation, office hours, and interactive enablement sessions that educate teams on how to utilize tools, locate data, and analyze it effectively.

• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams to reinforce the infrastructure, patterns, and definitions that support self-service analytics across the organization.

• Oversee projects from inception to implementation, including tackling ambiguous challenges where the best approach may not be immediately clear.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data science, or a related data-oriented role.

• Proficient in SQL with strong hands-on skills and a working knowledge of Python.

• Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Experience in creating reusable data assets, self-service analytics workflows, internal tools, or scalable reporting foundations beyond ad hoc requests.

• Background in teaching, training, mentoring, or empowering others to confidently and independently utilize data tools and analytics resources.

• Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach, capable of translating recurring business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

• The judgment and independence to manage moderately complex tasks autonomously while effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
