Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the raw material requirements of the company and customers, taking into account demand trends, inventory levels, supplier availability, and market conditions.

• Formulate and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives, supplier agreements, allocation needs, pricing factors, and inventory goals.

• Oversee the raw material ordering process and collaborate with internal sites, suppliers, and business partners to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

• Act as a reliable point of contact for customers and suppliers by addressing issues, determining root causes, and driving effective solutions.

• Prepare and disseminate pertinent customer updates, including market insights, supply availability, sourcing developments, and other critical information.

• Participate in sourcing initiatives that enhance efficiency, bolster supplier relationships, and promote more effective utilization of company resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• Preferred experience in sourcing, procurement, customer service, business systems, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with internal leaders, field teams, suppliers, customers, and external business partners.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing a high-volume workload, adapting to changing priorities, and making time-sensitive decisions.
