Senior Analyst – Solvency II Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive annual reporting timeline, which encompasses data acquisition, QRT population, and timely submissions in accordance with PRA and EIOPA standards.

• Keep track of updates to PRA and EIOPA taxonomies and ensure that QRTs are aligned with the latest requirements.

• Be a key member of the Capital Management team responsible for SCR calculations.

• Ensure data lineage is maintained throughout the Solvency process and collaborate with data, finance, and business engagement teams on changes to upstream data flows.

• Uphold auditable controls and maintain thorough process documentation.

• Advance the control framework, including conducting peer reviews, to ensure the function remains audit-ready.

• Lead the development of Tagetik automation in collaboration with system consultants.

• Identify and implement opportunities for AI integration to enhance process and control automation.

• Facilitate process improvements that minimize manual efforts and enhance the reliability of reporting cycles.

• Cultivate relationships across data, finance, and business teams as the primary contact for Solvency data and processes.

• Conduct quarterly discussion forums with senior stakeholders, simplifying complex regulatory and technical subjects effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Solvency II reporting.

• Comprehensive understanding of QRT production, regulatory submissions, and PRA/EIOPA mandates.

• Experience with Tagetik or a similar reporting platform is advantageous.

• Familiarity with SCR calculations and Solvency II Best Estimate/Risk Margin, or a solid actuarial/finance background to engage effectively with Capital Management peers.

• Proven ability to establish controls and documentation that withstand audit evaluations.

• Excellent communication skills; capable of presenting to senior stakeholders and fostering cross-functional relationships.

• A genuine interest in process enhancement and emerging technologies, including AI.
