Senior Analyst, Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver production support for essential business applications

• Diagnose technical issues and investigate production-related incidents

• Conduct root cause analysis and apply code corrections

• Provide support for enterprise applications developed with Java, Angular, APIs, and cloud technologies

• Maintain application reliability and optimize system performance for the PBM business

• Participate in application enhancements, stability improvements, and ongoing improvement initiatives

• Work collaboratively with Lead Engineers, Software Development Engineers, Product Owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders

• Examine application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts to identify production issues

• Engage in incident management, problem management, and change management processes

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support environments

• Proficient hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and applications based on microservices

• Experience in developing and supporting front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

• Background in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications in Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud environments

• Strong grasp of SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

• Experience in analyzing application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and DevOps methodologies

• Understanding of distributed systems, API integrations, and application performance troubleshooting

• Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, customer-centric environment

• Preferred: experience in supporting healthcare, PBM, or other highly regulated environments

• Preferred: knowledge of EDI transactions, file transfer processes, and system integrations

• Preferred: experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar monitoring and observability tools

• Preferred: familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Preferred: experience within Agile development teams

• Preferred: knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code

• Preferred: understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices
