This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver production support for essential business applications
• Diagnose technical problems and production-related incidents
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve incidents
• Conduct root cause analysis
• Apply code fixes and enhancements to applications
• Provide support for enterprise applications developed on Java, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Ensure system reliability and performance for the PBM business
• Participate in application support, system improvements, and ongoing enhancement initiatives
• Review application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts to identify production issues
• Engage in incident management, problem management, and change management processes
• 5–8 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support environments
• Strong practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based applications
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications in Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud settings
• Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience in analyzing application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and DevOps methodologies
• Understanding of distributed systems, API integrations, and performance troubleshooting of applications
• Experience with processes for incident management, problem management, and change management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Preferred: experience in supporting healthcare, PBM, or other highly regulated fields
• Preferred: knowledge of EDI transactions, file transfer protocols, and system integrations
• Preferred: familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar
• Preferred: understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Preferred: experience working within Agile development teams
• Preferred: knowledge of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
• Preferred: understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• An equivalent combination of education, professional training, and relevant experience will be considered
