Senior Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management – Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and timely reports and dashboards for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

• Validate data, address discrepancies in source systems, and communicate any limitations or delays

• Oversee metric definitions, calculations, data sources, ownership, refresh schedules, and version history

• Evaluate RCM performance across various workflows, payers, tests, teams, aging, and denial categories

• Detect trends, root causes, bottlenecks, and potential areas for improvement

• Present findings, supporting evidence, business impact, and recommended actions to RCM and Finance leadership

• Assist with workload, productivity, backlog, turnaround time, staffing capacity, cash flow, reimbursement, ASP, denials, appeals, collections, and forecasting analysis

• Set baselines and targets for transformation initiatives and track post-launch outcomes

• Standardize and automate routine reporting while safeguarding confidential information

• Document issues within source systems, validate corrections, and collaborate with responsible teams

• Report directly to the Director of RCM Strategy & Analytics or their designee

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, finance, economics, healthcare administration, information systems, statistics, or a related discipline

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare analytics, revenue cycle analytics, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field

• Strong comprehension of healthcare RCM workflows and metrics

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools

• Experience in combining, validating, reconciling, and interpreting data from various sources

• Capability to articulate complex analyses in clear, non-technical business terminology

• High attention to detail regarding accuracy, documentation, deadlines, and confidentiality

• Ensure the protection of patient, client, employee, financial, and business information while adhering to company policies, HIPAA, and relevant payer, laboratory, quality, and regulatory standards

• Preferred: Experience in diagnostic, molecular, genetic, pathology, or specialty laboratory reimbursement

• Preferred: Familiarity with SQL and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents

• Preferred: Experience with Quadax, Salesforce, laboratory billing systems, clearinghouses, payer portals, CRM, or LIS data

• Preferred: Background in reimbursement, ASP, prior authorization, denials, appeals, forecasting, capacity analysis, vendor reporting, automation, or AI-driven analytics
