This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and refresh forecasting and budget models throughout all planning cycles, including data extraction, formula adjustments, and version management.
• Prepare and verify data inputs for planning tools (currently Planful), ensuring that the data is accurate and aligned with the assumptions established by the Senior Manager.
• Assist in the rolling forecast process by updating data, modifying model inputs, and identifying changes in performance trends that could influence future projections.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to facilitate leadership planning discussions.
• Lead and support ad hoc investigations and deep dives within the team, independently gathering and structuring data while providing insights on the implications of the findings.
• Proactively detect trends and patterns in both historical and current data that may indicate future risks or opportunities, presenting hypotheses and recommendations to the Senior Manager.
• Develop analytical outputs, such as charts, tables, summaries, and initial draft narratives, which the Senior Manager will refine for communication to leadership.
• Convert complex data into straightforward, concise narratives that stakeholders can easily understand and act upon.
• Query, transform, and validate extensive datasets in Databricks using robust, production-quality SQL.
• Be responsible for the data layer that underpins planning and analytical tasks, ensuring inputs are dependable, well-documented, and ready for use.
• Actively utilize AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, expedite analysis, and enhance team efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, model logic, and process steps, ensuring the team has a reliable reference point.
• Coordinate the logistics of Budget, Reforecast, and rolling forecast cycles.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in business analytics, revenue planning, FP&A, or a related domain.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to link historical trends to future outcomes and provide proactive recommendations to the team.
• Proficient in SQL with solid hands-on experience in Databricks, demonstrating the autonomy and technical confidence to work independently.
• Advanced skills in Excel, particularly with complex models, scenario analysis, and large datasets.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating findings into clear language and producing actionable outputs rather than mere reports.
• An active user of AI tools, or someone eager to become proficient in utilizing them.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong data ownership, and a proactive work ethic that anticipates challenges rather than waiting for direction.
