Senior Analyst, People Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the administration of the Visier platform, which includes managing metrics, tagging, cleaning up configurations, and organizing content to ensure a reliable and clear analytics environment.

• Create and manage vital self-service dashboards and reporting content within Visier, adhering to established style guidelines and PIA’s Content Development Lifecycle (scope → validate → build → review → pilot → release).

• Oversee the data pipeline from Workday to Snowflake and then to Visier, handling necessary transformations, data additions, and troubleshooting any issues related to data loading in Visier.

• Implement systematic data validation processes by comparing Visier metrics with Workday's source-of-truth data to guarantee accuracy and integrity across all analytical objects.

• Handle routine business-as-usual tasks such as processing survey data, generating recurring reports, and performing regular platform maintenance.

• Collaborate across departments with People Technology and Data Engineering teams on data integration, pipeline development, and enhancements to the platform.

• Enhance PIA’s capacity to deliver analytical insights at scale through the tuning, monitoring, and evaluation of Visier Vee.

• Utilize other AI tools (including Claude) to expedite content development, documentation, code generation, and process automation.

• Play a supportive role in generating analytics and insights, with the potential to engage more deeply in analytical work over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quantitative or analytics position, focusing on building data visualizations, business intelligence solutions, and producing actionable insights, ideally within a People/HR team.

• At least 2 years of experience working with BI/Analytics/Statistical modeling tools such as Visier, OneModel, Workday Prism, Tableau, or comparable analytics platforms.

• Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and ETL pipeline development.

• Advanced skills in data visualization with the ability to articulate a compelling narrative through data.

• Familiarity with data governance best practices and experience in establishing robust security and data governance frameworks.

• Progressive experience in implementing self-service dashboards and promoting user engagement.

• Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion, with the ability to convert business requirements into effective solutions.

• Strong business acumen, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the capacity to effectively interact with all organizational levels and foster strong relationships.

• Self-motivated individual with a high degree of discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential data.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, I/O Psychology).
