Senior Analyst, FP&A – Commercial Network Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of the annual operating plan, long-term strategy, and quarterly COGS forecasts for Non-Medicare commercial segments.

• Conduct monthly COGS variance analysis and relay insights concerning factors such as MAC rates, drug mix, pharmacy utilization, and changes in network design.

• Create and manage financial models that evaluate the impact of MAC rate fluctuations, formulary adjustments, network modifications, and client-specific utilization patterns.

• Compile weekly updates on network performance and prepare management reporting packages.

• Provide support for ad-hoc analytical requests, special projects, and scenario modeling as directed by the Manager and Director.

• Report directly to the Manager of FP&A Non-Medicare Network Margin COGS.

• Deliver analytical support for CVS Health's Pharmacy Services business across segments including Large Client, CarelonRx, Aetna, FEHBP, and Maintenance Choice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in financial planning and cost analysis, preferably within a PBM, managed care, or health benefits context.

• Knowledge of pharmacy COGS drivers, such as MAC pricing, drug mix, and pharmacy network utilization.

• Proficient in Excel with experience handling large datasets.

• Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools is preferred.

• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to break down multi-driver variances and communicate results effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing reports suitable for management review.

• Collaborative approach; ability to work effectively with Network Pricing and Operations teams.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

• Master's degree is preferred.
