Senior Analyst, Deal Desk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic consultant for regional sales teams regarding intricate deal structures, pricing strategies, and commercial terms to enhance profitability while aligning with corporate objectives.

• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration (Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations) to advance deals from inception through approval to finalization, addressing any exceptions that arise.

• Enhance the regional deal management process to increase governance and commercial efficiency.

• Perform financial modeling, margin assessments, and pipeline monitoring via CRM to provide data-driven insights for negotiations and sales forecasting.

• Examine contract documentation to guarantee complete adherence to company policies, accurate revenue recognition, and agreement terms.

• Establish tracking systems to ensure that finalized deals meet projected financial objectives, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for optimization.

• Convert complex data into concise summaries and recommendations for senior leadership, while guiding junior team members on best practices for deal desk operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Deal Desk, RevOps, or Sales Ops, preferably within the SaaS or enterprise software sectors.

• Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, sophisticated deal structures, revenue recognition, and management of commercial contracts.

• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and programming languages (SQL/Python); experienced with CRMs (Salesforce/HubSpot) and business intelligence tools.

• Demonstrated capability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance) and provide negotiation support.

• Proven track record of initiating process improvements and converting data into practical business recommendations.
