This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conducts a significant volume of intricate, high-risk, and unbiased workplace investigations into claims that an associate may have violated Walmart Canada policies and relevant laws.
• Effectively navigates high-pressure workplace disputes among individuals involved in investigations.
• Clearly articulates investigation results, policy applications, and associated recommendations to senior management and legal advisors.
• Responsible for deriving appropriate conclusions in line with applicable employment legislation.
• Handles sensitive and confidential information regarding associates and customers with care.
• Engages with customers on behalf of Walmart Canada concerning matters of human rights, harassment, and discrimination.
• Bilingual — French and English.
• Proficient in advanced legal drafting and writing.
• Capable of maintaining neutrality and composure during challenging interviews on sensitive topics.
• Skilled in analyzing complex interpersonal issues and articulating conclusions in a clear and appropriate manner.
• Able to manage high levels of stress and interpersonal conflict on a daily basis.
• Quick to learn new areas of the business.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, and produce a high volume of work under tight deadlines.
• Expertise in conducting impartial investigations related to harassment and discrimination.
• Proficient in drawing appropriate conclusions concerning allegations of harassment and discrimination.
• Familiarity with employment-related laws.
