Senior Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various business units at Yelp to utilize data-driven insights for making strategic decisions that yield strong financial outcomes.

• Deliver top-notch analytical support through hands-on Excel work while utilizing other necessary tools such as SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, and Tableau.

• Discover actionable insights, apply sound business judgment, propose recommendations, and influence the trajectory of Yelp's business by effectively working with and communicating results to cross-functional teams.

• Develop Tableau dashboards that enhance visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing effectiveness, and business trends/drivers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Math, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of applicable business experience in solving analytical challenges through quantitative methods.

• Familiarity with a range of business models and functions.

• Outstanding Excel modeling capabilities.

• Experience with SQL is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate between detailed data and overarching insights.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities; capable of effective communication and seamless collaboration across teams.

• Proficient in engaging and working efficiently with both executive management and frontline employees.
