Senior Analyst, Brokerage Placement – Personal Lines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and assess submissions for acceptability, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Negotiate coverage terms and requirements with precision.

• Provide prompt issuance of quotes and effectively bind policies.

• Collect and maintain well-organized, detailed, and complete underwriting files.

• Evaluate risks within the defined authority.

• Implement underwriting guidelines and standards across various carriers and business lines while ensuring adherence to carrier guidelines, state regulations, and surplus lines requirements.

• Build strong relationships with agents, internal teams, carriers, and external partners.

• Meet team and individual production targets by developing a profitable book of business and strategically increasing both policies in force and premium.

• Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, to all stakeholders with clarity and precision.

• Conduct research on agency, carrier, and market data to support informed decision-making.

• Respond to inquiries within established service level standards and demonstrate underwriting expertise.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a P&C License and Surplus Lines License or L&H License in all states (if required by product line) within 45 days.

• Strong understanding of brokerage placement programs and advanced placement techniques.

• Knowledge of and compliance with state-specific statutes related to underwriting, applicable insurance laws, and regulations.

• Familiarity with various carriers' products, market conditions, pricing, and marketing strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for presenting information to all levels of internal and external contacts.

• Capability to train and mentor less experienced associates.

• Strong product knowledge, technical skills, communication and consultative abilities, sound decision-making, problem-solving capabilities, and a results-oriented, customer-focused mindset.

• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in changing situations.
