Senior Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and upkeep of Epic Healthy Planet registries, health maintenance topics, care gap alerts, and best practice advisories associated with Star Ratings measures

• Convert HEDIS technical specifications and CMS Star Ratings measure criteria into Epic build requirements in collaboration with senior analysts and architects

• Configure and test quality measure logic within Epic to guarantee accurate gap identification and closure tracking

• Address daily issues concerning Star measure workflows, registries, and reporting discrepancies

• Create and maintain reports utilizing Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, and SlicerDicer

• Verify quality measure data and rectify inconsistencies between Epic data and quality reporting outputs

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly Star Ratings reporting cycles and ensure timely data delivery to Quality and Population Health teams

• Act as a liaison for clinical and quality staff regarding Star measure workflows and Epic documentation

• Collaborate with Quality, Population Health, and ACO teams to collect requirements and communicate updates or limitations regarding builds

• Engage in testing and validation sessions with end users prior to the release of new builds or measure updates

• Maintain documentation of build configurations, workflows, and measure logic

• Support change control processes for annual HEDIS/CMS specification updates

• Track and manage assigned work items using agile tools such as Rally

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Epic Certified in Healthy Planet, Reporting, or related modules

• Over 2 years of experience working with Epic, preferably within Healthy Planet, Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, or SlicerDicer

• Knowledge of Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, and/or NCQA quality measure concepts

• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail in data validation and measure logic testing

• Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and clinical stakeholders

• Experience in a health plan, ACO, or population health environment is preferred

• Familiarity with agile delivery tools such as Rally is preferred

• Basic understanding of FHIR/HL7 interoperability concepts is preferred

• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

• Solid grasp of quality measure workflows and healthcare data

• Effective collaboration across IT, clinical, and quality functions

• Ability to manage multiple work items and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
