This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
⢠Lead and manage small to medium-sized, cross-functional projects, encompassing the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
⢠Evaluate clinical and business requirements to implement solutions that adhere to best practices.
⢠Design, construct, configure, and enhance Epic Ambulatory workflows to boost operational efficiency (SmartTools, orders, navigators, templates).
⢠Create and document comprehensive system requirements, functional specifications, and change requests.
⢠Perform impact analysis for system upgrades, new releases, and regulatory changes; evaluate workflow implications and implement necessary modifications.
⢠Monitor and assess system performance, ensuring optimal functionality and data integrity.
⢠Generate and sustain thorough documentation, including workflow diagrams, enhancement documents, test scripts, test scenarios, and test plans.
⢠Conduct system testing, identify defects, and manage remediation until resolution.
⢠Recognize project and application risks; maintain issue logs with designated ownership, mitigation strategies, and recorded closure.
⢠Act as a liaison between operational stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors to ensure coherence between technology and business processes.
⢠Clearly communicate application changes, enhancements, and best practices to affected teams.
⢠Offer advanced analytical support and act as a resource for end users to optimize system usage and performance.
⢠Assist in training, mentoring, and developing junior analysts.
⢠Develop and share project timelines for service requests and assigned initiatives.
⢠A Bachelorās degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
⢠An Associateās degree with six or more years of directly related experience may be considered as a substitute for a Bachelorās degree.
⢠Active Epic certification in Ambulatory is required.
⢠A minimum of 5+ years of Systems Analyst experience, with increasing responsibility in Epic Ambulatory build and optimization.
⢠At least 5+ years of Information Technology experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
⢠Demonstrated ability to independently manage moderate to complex projects.
⢠Advanced expertise in Epic Ambulatory build and configuration.
⢠Strong comprehension of ambulatory clinical workflows.
⢠Proficient in analytical problem-solving and systems thinking.
⢠Excellent and confident communication skills with stakeholders.
⢠Strong documentation practices and testing rigor.
⢠Capability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
⢠Experience in project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
