Senior AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create and outline comprehensive architectures for enterprise Generative AI solutions.

• Design and execute agentic AI systems along with multi-agent architectures.

• Seamlessly integrate AI solutions with platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, ERP, and other similar enterprise systems.

• Work collaboratively with both business and technical stakeholders to convert use cases into scalable AI-driven solutions.

• Ensure that solutions satisfy production requirements related to performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.

• Formulate and implement AI safety strategies, guardrails, grounding techniques, prompt injection prevention measures, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Assess architectural trade-offs like latency versus accuracy and automation versus human oversight.

• Design comprehensive workflows across various enterprise systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in backend development, preferably with Python.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Generative AI solutions within enterprise settings.

• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs), including GPT-4o and o-series models, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments.

• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and grounding strategies.

• Strong grasp of tool/function calling patterns.

• Experience in designing agentic AI systems, orchestrator architectures, and multi-agent systems.

• Familiarity with workflow-based agents, such as LangGraph or similar technologies.

• Proven experience integrating AI solutions with ServiceNow, Salesforce, and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

• Comprehensive knowledge of REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID, and role-based access control (RBAC).

• Experience in performance, scalability, reliability, observability, logging, monitoring, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Familiarity with AI safety mechanisms and operational guardrails.

• Ability to balance business requirements, technical limitations, and operational needs.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.

• Proficient in using Docker, Azure Container Apps, and Azure App Services.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.

• Desired skills include real-time AI systems, voice solutions, streaming architectures, WebSockets, other LLM providers, enterprise knowledge bases, conversational AI, chatbots, and voice assistants.
