Senior AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain semantic context layers, which encompass knowledge graphs, ontologies, and structured context repositories, to guide agent behavior.

• Develop comprehensive full stack features that allow users to configure, monitor, and control AI agents via user-friendly interfaces.

• Integrate RPA agents with semantic reasoning abilities for scalable context-aware automation.

• Construct and maintain data platform frontends that offer real-time insight into agent activities and data flows.

• Collaborate with product and data science teams to convert business needs into intelligent automation solutions.

• Advocate for engineering excellence through thorough testing, documentation, and consistent architecture.

• Partner with rapidly expanding global companies through Hire Hangar.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior-level full stack engineering.

• Profound knowledge of semantic technologies, including knowledge graphs, RDF/OWL, ontologies, or entity resolution.

• Practical experience in building or utilizing AI agent frameworks.

• Strong frontend development skills using React or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Recharts.

• Experience with Python-based backend systems and integration of ML services.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced SaaS product environments.

• Previous experience working remotely.

• Proven capability to collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams.

• Preferred: experience with graph databases like Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.

• Preferred: exposure to NLP pipelines and named entity recognition (NER).

• Preferred: contributions to open-source AI or semantic tools.

• Preferred: experience with enterprise-level knowledge management systems.

• Completion of a brief technical assessment is required.

• Availability to work within US time zones (PST–EST), including the hours of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
