This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Enterprise AI Program Office in various workstreams, business sectors, stakeholder groups, governance backlog items, enablement initiatives, and special projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and route AI opportunities by clarifying business value, target user base, data sensitivity, workflow implications, autonomy levels, vendor/tool status, exposure to regulated processes, technical dependencies, adoption requirements, and support models.
• Oversee the enterprise AI portfolio and backlog, which includes business use cases, roadmaps, platform requests, AI tools, pilot projects, production candidates, adoption initiatives, and workforce enablement efforts.
• Coordinate governance and control activities triggered by risk in collaboration with Legal, Privacy, Information Security, QA/Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, SWE, IT, data owners, business owners, and other accountable subject matter experts.
• Prepare and manage intake records, decision logs, AI impact assessments, review packets, action logs, risk registers, exception records, readiness checklists, service-model documentation, and evidence documentation.
• Develop reusable program office assets such as service catalog content, intake guidance, assessment criteria, starter kits, tool-selection guidance, playbooks, templates, FAQs, office-hours materials, and training support resources.
• Assist functional AI leaders and business stakeholders by collecting needs, adoption challenges, tool feedback, success narratives, recurring queries, and demand indicators.
• Organize readiness checkpoints with engineering, software engineering, enterprise architecture, IT, data architecture, vendors, and platform partners.
• Monitor AI-related issues, incidents, near misses, policy exceptions, duplicated efforts, unclear ownership, blocked handoffs, adoption challenges, and lessons learned.
• Compile inputs for sponsor and executive reporting, including portfolio dashboards, roadmap updates, operational metrics, adoption indicators, risks, open decisions, RAID summaries, and suggested next steps.
• Continuously enhance AI intake, opportunity evaluation, prioritization, governance routing, pilot launches, scaling, engagement, service requests, and benefit-tracking processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report to the Director of the Enterprise AI Program Office.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable mix of education and relevant work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in program management, product operations, business analysis, technology governance, transformation, change management, technology risk/compliance, data governance, enterprise technology enablement, or a similar cross-functional operating role.
• Proficient understanding of AI, generative AI, enterprise technology, software delivery, data, digital adoption, risk assessment, and control concepts.
• Capability to communicate effectively between business stakeholders, technical teams, and governance functions.
• Ability to function in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where standards, tools, and processes are still being developed.
• Strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, synthesis, and written communication.
• Experience in creating executive-ready materials from unclear inputs.
• Experience in maintaining roadmaps, dashboards, action logs, decision logs, evidence records, operating cadences, templates, playbooks, or program reporting artifacts.
• Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams, requests, and stakeholders; follow up on dependencies; organize information; and escalate issues with sound judgment.
• Judgement to differentiate between lightweight coordination and risk-triggered reviews, and to identify when accountable subject matter experts are necessary.
• Preferred: Experience supporting an AI center of excellence, enterprise program office, product operations team, digital transformation program, governance function, adoption program, GRC process, or regulated technology portfolio.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, regulated software, life sciences, or enterprise environments with privacy, security, quality, compliance, or data-governance expectations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with responsible AI concepts, AI literacy programs, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, AI impact assessments, model or system cards, third-party risk management, or AI use case lifecycle management.
• Preferred: Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Excel, BI/reporting tools, ServiceNow, GRC tools, or similar platforms.
