Senior AI Engineer – LLM, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, and maintain AI and Machine Learning models within business applications.

• Design and optimize data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.

• Create LLM-based and Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and domain experts to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions.

• Deploy and manage models utilizing MLOps practices such as CI/CD, monitoring, and version control.

• Assess model performance, fairness, reliability, and overall quality.

• Integrate cloud-based AI services across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP platforms.

• Develop and incorporate APIs and microservices that support AI functionalities.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.

• Document AI workflows, architectures, and operational procedures comprehensively.

• Assist cross-functional teams in the adoption and integration of AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and implementing AI solutions, including those based on LLMs.

• A university degree with at least 6 years of IT experience, or a non-university degree accompanied by at least 12 years of IT experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Java.

• Strong grasp of Machine Learning fundamentals and the model lifecycle.

• Experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Familiarity with LLMs and Generative AI, including hands-on implementation of LLM-based solutions.

• Understanding of APIs and microservices.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes technologies.

• Knowledge of production AI/ML deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Strong comprehension of data governance, security, and responsible AI principles.

• At least one required professional certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or an equivalent recognized certification.
