Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage AI systems that address genuine business challenges within Finom.

• Transition seamlessly from prototype to production: defining the solution, constructing the system, assessing quality, and enhancing it over time.

• Engage in high-impact projects involving onboarding, customer support, AI accounting, fraud and risk processes, document comprehension, and internal automation.

• Provide production-quality AI functionalities that deliver tangible benefits for both customers and the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient software engineer with extensive Python expertise and a proven history of deploying production systems.

• Comfortable navigating the entire lifecycle: prompting, retrieval, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Skilled at transforming unclear business challenges into solid technical solutions.

• Product-focused and dedicated to achieving real user outcomes, beyond mere model results.

• Independent, pragmatic, and capable of maintaining progress without extensive oversight.

• Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating across various functions.

• Inquisitive, proactive, humble, and action-oriented.

• Continuously stays informed about the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
