AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and create cloud-native AI solutions utilizing Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry.

• Construct and integrate large language model (LLM) pipelines, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows into enterprise applications.

• Develop serverless microservices and event-driven architectures on the Azure platform.

• Implement and enhance AI Search indexes, semantic ranking, and hybrid retrieval strategies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into effective AI-powered features.

• Ensure that solutions comply with performance, security, and compliance standards through rigorous testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the establishment of internal best practices in AI engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in software or AI/ML development.

• Practical experience with Azure Functions (consumption or premium plans; durable functions are a plus).

• In-depth knowledge of Azure AI Search, including index design, skillsets, semantic search, and vector search.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, specifically with prompt flows, model deployments, and evaluations.

• Proficiency in Python and/or C#.

• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.

• NICE TO HAVE: Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service and prompt engineering.

• Knowledge of LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.

• Familiarity with Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes (AKS).

• Exposure to responsible AI principles and content safety tools.

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Weaviate, Pinecone).

• Microsoft Azure AI/Data certifications (e.g., AI-102, DP-100).
