Senior AI Digital Product Manager – Agentic Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy, implementation, and advancement of Amgen’s Enterprise Agentic Ecosystem Platform.

• Take ownership of the product strategy for a secure, cloud-native AI platform that includes reusable services, SDKs, APIs, orchestration, developer tools, observability, and governance.

• Serve as the Product Manager within an Agile framework.

• Propel the development of agent orchestration, memory, tool integration, model routing, identity, observability, deployment services, and governance capabilities.

• Advocate for developer experience through reusable SDKs, APIs, templates, documentation, reference implementations, self-service capabilities, and internal developer tools.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and prioritize initiatives accordingly.

• Lead AI projects from initial discovery to enterprise-scale implementation.

• Identify reusable platform functionalities and enhance reliability, scalability, latency, and AI inference costs.

• Manage platform health and adoption metrics, including usage rates, active builders, developer experience, adoption levels, model quality, reliability, latency, cost efficiency, Responsible AI compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Establish governance, guardrails, evaluation standards, and policy enforcement in collaboration with Responsible AI, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Enterprise Architecture teams.

• Create evaluation frameworks for quality, safety, reliability, latency, hallucination risk, cost, and business outcomes.

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, platform architecture, Responsible AI, security, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading products, defining roadmaps, and tracking product success.

• Strong technical proficiency with cloud-native software platforms.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, AI engineers, platform engineers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• A Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in Product/AI/Information/Tech Systems, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or a Diploma with 12 years of experience.

• Preferred: Over 8 years of product management or related experience, including more than 5 years delivering AI/ML, developer platforms, cloud platforms, or enterprise software products.

• Experience in building or managing enterprise AI platforms, developer platforms, platform-as-a-product, or shared platform capabilities.

• Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, agent orchestration, model serving, AI evaluation, and ML productization.

• Familiarity with AWS, Databricks, MLflow, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar platforms and frameworks.

• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, SDKs, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern software engineering practices.

• Experience in defining and measuring developer experience, platform adoption, product analytics, customer success metrics, and platform health.

• Knowledge of Responsible AI, security, privacy, governance, and compliance practices.

• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Practical experience with experimentation, telemetry, observability, and customer feedback.
