Senior AI Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage and evaluate the report and capability inventory, determining which legacy reports will be continued, redirected, rebuilt, or retired.

• Prioritize and refine the delivery backlog across the replication, curated-layer, semantic-model, and reporting-enablement workstreams.

• Establish and confirm acceptance criteria for each deliverable in collaboration with finance and business stakeholders.

• Lead the design-validation phase by collecting baseline requirements for reports and tables, clarifying uncertainties with finance/business owners, and finalizing the scope.

• Propel backlog and requirement decisions to meet strict deadlines, ensuring timely delivery without lingering questions.

• Collaborate with the Architect, Security & Privacy Governance Lead, and data development leads to align on scope, design, and delivery.

• Monitor and communicate progress against delivery milestones, including design validation, build, and cutover readiness, to client stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison between client finance stakeholders and the development team during a significant finance data platform modernization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst in data/BI/reporting initiatives, managing a backlog from start to finish.

• Proven track record in rationalizing a substantial legacy report inventory into a governed, business-defined reporting solution.

• Comfortable engaging directly with finance or other business-domain stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and clarify requirements.

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management abilities; capable of driving decisions within a set timeline and fixed-scope delivery.

• Practical understanding of data platform concepts (source-to-curated data flow, semantic layers, BI tools) sufficient to convert business needs into a development backlog.

• Fluent in English (C1) — daily collaboration with US-based finance and business stakeholders.

• Experience in financial/GL reporting domains (chart of accounts, dimensions, close process) is preferred.

• Background in mortgage, lending, or financial services reporting is also preferred.

• Familiarity with Power BI or another enterprise BI semantic layer from a product/requirements perspective is preferred.
