This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish the Data Foundation

• Design and manage the comprehensive gameplay analytics ecosystem.

• Define the architecture for tracking, storage, processing, and reporting.

• Ensure data accuracy and make informed decisions when quality checks identify anomalies.

• Propel AI-Native Analytics

• Construct the semantic layer that converts raw gameplay data into validated gameplay and business concepts.

• Create AI-driven automated reporting, dashboards, and workflows for insight generation.

• Assess and implement AI tools, agents, and workflows that enhance the speed, reliability, and depth of analytics.

• Review AI-generated code and analytics on critical paths prior to production release.

• Generate Product Intelligence

• Recognize opportunities, risks, anomalies, and trends within gameplay and player behavior.

• Assist product, balancing, design, and leadership teams with data-informed recommendations.

• Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

• Set the Agentic Bar

• Contribute to defining how the broader engineering organization adopts agentic practices.

• Establish benchmarks for tooling, review processes, quality gates, and define what 'done' signifies when agents are responsible for most of the implementation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing analytics or data-driven systems in production settings, preferably in gaming or mobile.

• Profound familiarity with LLMs, agents, and AI-assisted engineering workflows in production environments.

• Practical experience applying agentic workflows and AI coding tools in real-world projects.

• Extensive experience working with behavioral, transactional, or event-based datasets and extracting actionable insights from complex data.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Experience in designing scalable data architectures, pipelines, data models, dashboards, analytical frameworks, or automated insight-generation systems.

• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions.

• Strong analytical decomposition skills with the ability to turn ambiguous business questions into specific analytical challenges.

• Keen instinct for data quality, system reliability, and independent verification.

• Comfortable working autonomously, driving technical initiatives from inception to production, and taking ownership of outcomes instead of merely tasks.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• A strong passion for gaming.
