This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the data infrastructure, encompassing dbt models, Fivetran connectors, and warehouse maintenance.

• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to convert business inquiries into analyses and Sigma dashboards.

• Develop production-quality SQL for ad hoc analysis, cohort studies, and regular reporting.

• Create and sustain dbt models in Snowflake for comprehensive company reporting.

• Manage and oversee Fivetran connectors, resolve synchronization challenges, and onboard additional data sources.

• Structure NetSuite/ERP data for financial and operational reporting purposes.

• Enhance data quality and governance through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to standards.

• Assist with ecommerce and retention analytics, focusing on subscription behavior, LTV, and channel performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in roles such as Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist.

• Proficient in SQL, capable of writing scalable, efficient, and maintainable queries.

• Skilled in translating intricate data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Practical experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining data models using dbt.

• Familiarity with managing ELT pipelines and resolving data integration challenges, such as those involving Fivetran.

• Experience in handling large, complex, and imperfect datasets.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to business stakeholders effectively.

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

• Knowledge of DTC/ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Recharge, Klaviyo, or Amplitude.

• Experience in analyzing subscription metrics, including retention, churn, LTV, and cohort analysis.

• Proficient in Python or R for advanced data analysis and automation tasks.

• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau, with a preference for Sigma experience.
