Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will design and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt to ensure reliable and auditable reconciliation between internal and external systems.

• You are responsible for enhancing the data workflows associated with Claim Reimbursement and Contract Sales, guaranteeing precise financial tracking and reconciliation with partners.

• You collaborate closely with teams in Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Reporting to align and reconcile both internal and external financial data, serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

• You will ensure data integrity across various systems and support both internal and external audits through well-documented and traceable data practices.

• You utilize tools such as Thunderclient and Postman to interact with production systems, aiding in the enhancement of integrations with Service Providers and Merchants to improve the timeliness and accuracy of claim expense reporting and payments.

• You will identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, proposing process improvements to minimize errors and manual intervention, while also helping to extend our data quality standards and operational analytics practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar role centered on operational data systems.

• Strong SQL proficiency and practical experience with Snowflake and dbt.

• Expertise in API interaction and familiarity with tools like Thunderclient or Postman.

• Understanding of reconciliation, financial audit preparation, and best practices for cross-system data integrity.

• Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset for working with both technical and non-technical teams.

• A strong problem-solving attitude and the capability to proactively identify and resolve data inconsistencies.

• Experience in a dynamic startup or cross-functional environment is advantageous.
