Senior AI Data & Analytics Engineer – Agentic Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop the Data Foundation.

• Create and manage the comprehensive gameplay analytics ecosystem.

• Establish tracking, storage, processing, and reporting architecture.

• Ensure data accuracy and make informed decisions when quality checks indicate discrepancies.

• Propel AI-Native Analytics.

• Construct the semantic layer that converts raw gameplay data into validated gameplay and business concepts.

• Design AI-driven automated reporting, dashboards, and workflows for insight generation.

• Assess and implement AI tools, agents, and workflows that enhance the speed, reliability, and depth of analytics.

• Review AI-generated code and analytics on critical paths prior to production deployment.

• Generate Product Intelligence.

• Recognize opportunities, risks, anomalies, and trends within gameplay and player behavior.

• Provide data-driven recommendations to product, balancing, design, and leadership teams.

• Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

• Establish the Agentic Bar.

• Assist in defining how the broader engineering organization adopts agentic practices.

• Set standards for tooling, review processes, quality gates, and criteria for when agents complete implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in building analytics or data-driven systems in production settings, preferably in gaming or mobile industries.

• Profound familiarity with LLMs, agents, and AI-assisted engineering workflows in production environments.

• Practical experience utilizing agentic workflows and AI coding tools in real-world applications.

• Ability to concretely discuss how you structure prompts and context, manage autonomous and multi-agent workflows, including intervention timing, use of MCP servers, custom tools, skills, or subagents, and review AI-generated code and queries without becoming a bottleneck.

• Extensive experience working with behavioral, transactional, or event-based datasets and deriving actionable insights from intricate data.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Capable of reading and owning code that you did not author and independently verifying outputs instead of blindly trusting generated results.

• Experience designing scalable data architectures, pipelines, data models, dashboards, analytical frameworks, or automated insight-generation systems.

• Familiar with cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions.

• Strong analytical decomposition skills and the capability to translate ambiguous business inquiries into precise analytical challenges.

• Keen instinct for data quality, system reliability, and independent verification; you do not simply accept whatever the agent produces.

• Comfortable working autonomously, leading technical initiatives from concept to production, and owning results rather than just tasks.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Passionate about gaming.

• NICE TO HAVE: Experience in gaming or mobile analytics (monetization, attribution, retention, LiveOps, economy).

• Knowledge of event-driven and streaming data architectures.

• Experience with real-time telemetry or anti-cheat/anomaly-detection systems.

• Published or shared work on agentic workflows, such as blog posts, OSS subagents/skills, or open-sourced internal tools.
