Senior AI-Assisted Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Utilize AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, DROID, Claude, or comparable platforms to enhance engineering productivity.

• Develop structured, contextually rich prompts for code, technical designs, documentation, test cases, and troubleshooting suggestions.

• Apply macro-level prompt engineering to assess business requirements, break down complex problems, create solution strategies, and expedite feature development.

• Use AI tools to comprehend and navigate extensive codebases, pinpoint defects, propose enhancements, and facilitate onboarding.

• Assist with coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, code reviews, and documentation using AI-assisted development methodologies.

• Validate and refine AI-generated outputs in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and coding standards.

• Convert concepts, prototypes, and business requirements into production-ready solutions.

• Balance AI-generated recommendations with established software engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Full Stack Software Engineering, with a proven history of delivering enterprise-scale applications.

• Strong expertise in utilizing AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate software development and enhance delivery results.

• Demonstrated ability to employ advanced prompting techniques to analyze requirements, create solutions, modify existing applications, and increase delivery speed while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to agile delivery.

• Profound understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Advanced oral English skills for effective collaboration with global teams and precision in prompt engineering.

• Proficiency in advanced Spanish.

• Familiarity with cloud-native fundamentals or AI coding assistants (desired).
