Staff Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical strategy and implementation for the Aetna Transactional Cache platform.

• Contribute to the development of the next iteration of the Aetna Transactional Cache system.

• Collaborate with project teams across a diverse and evolving technology environment.

• Engage with cloud platforms and cutting-edge frameworks.

• Work in cross-functional teams to address strategic challenges.

• Partner with business leaders, Product Managers, and Engineering teams.

• Foster innovation and modernize existing platforms.

• Influence outcomes and further the organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software/data product delivery, encompassing the design and deployment of production-ready systems.

• More than 5 years of experience in ETL/ELT development.

• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise/web/cloud application software development on Azure/GCP.

• Over 5 years of experience working with MongoDB.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Familiarity with messaging systems like Apache Kafka and MQ.

• Strong understanding of software delivery practices and agile methodologies.

• Experience managing large-scale technical programs with comprehensive planning.

• Demonstrated ability to make swift, informed decisions and take responsibility for services at scale.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• High school diploma paired with 4 years of relevant work experience as an alternative educational route.
