Senior AEM Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, high-performance digital solutions utilizing Adobe Experience Manager.

• Create and execute fullstack AEM solutions encompassing both frontend components and backend services.

• Construct and tailor AEM components, editable templates, workflows, and integrations using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTL.

• Implement backend logic through Java, Sling Models, and OSGi services.

• Connect AEM with external APIs, enterprise systems, and third-party services using RESTful and GraphQL methodologies.

• Validate, troubleshoot, and debug both frontend and backend implementations.

• Lead code reviews and uphold fullstack coding standards alongside AEM best practices.

• Guide junior developers in AEM development patterns.

• Collaborate with architects, UX/Design teams, and QA throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Engage with client stakeholders to provide updates, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.

• Contribute to enhancements in CI/CD pipelines and AEM package management workflows.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in fullstack or web development roles.

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the AEM CMS platform.

• Solid background in Java and backend development within the AEM ecosystem, including Sling Models and OSGi services.

• Experience in developing AEM components using HTL (Sightly) and integrating with backend services.

• Familiarity with REST API design and integration patterns in AEM.

• Experience in Maven-based build pipelines and AEM package management.

• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Active utilization of AI coding tools, specifically Windsurf and Claude.

• Advanced English proficiency required for collaboration with US clients.
