This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Design, create, and implement backend AEM solutions, including custom OSGi bundles, Sling Models, Sling Servlets, and workflow components.
• Construct and uphold AEM content structures utilizing JCR/Oak, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and DAM integrations.
• Develop and enhance HTL (Sightly) templates in collaboration with frontend teams, ensuring a clear separation of responsibilities.
• Integrate AEM with external systems and APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Lead code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor junior developers on AEM backend best practices.
• Collaborate with architects to contribute to solution design decisions and technical documentation.
• Debug, profile, and enhance AEM performance at the component, page, and infrastructure levels.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Effectively communicate delivery status, technical risks, and blockers to team leads and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements and deployment automation utilizing Maven and Cloud Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in backend software development.
• More than 3 years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong expertise in Java, with a solid understanding of the OSGi/Felix framework and Sling architecture.
• Experience in building and maintaining Sling Models, Sling Servlets, OSGi services, and custom AEM components.
• Comprehensive knowledge of JCR/Apache Oak content repository and AEM data modeling best practices.
• Familiarity with AEM DAM, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Multi-Site Manager (MSM).
• Knowledge of HTL (Sightly) and server-side rendering patterns in AEM.
• Experience with Maven-based build pipelines and AEM package management (CRXDE, Package Manager).
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns within AEM.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Regular use of AI coding tools in daily development activities (Windsurf and Claude).
• An advanced level of English is required for this position, as you will interact with US clients. Effective communication in English is crucial to provide optimal solutions for our clients and broaden your professional horizons.
