
Senior Advisor, Clinical AI – Technology Program Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Implement the clinical AI and technology portfolio management process encompassing intake, prioritization, decision readiness, execution oversight, value measurement, and continuous portfolio learning.
• Develop and maintain a clear enterprise view of clinical AI and technology opportunities, detailing stages, sponsors, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and subsequent actions.
• Provide leadership with insights into portfolio and program advancements, objectives, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and necessary actions.
• Collaborate with clinical AI strategy, clinical design and delivery, business stakeholders, product, technology, data and analytics, finance, and vendor partners.
• Convert approved clinical AI and technology strategies and leadership decisions into actionable plans, comprehensive timelines, ownership models, readiness checkpoints, and execution tracking.
• Organize inputs concerning clinical needs, member and provider experiences, data availability, workflow impacts, technology suitability, operational feasibility, value hypotheses, and measurement approaches.
• Prepare governance and leadership documentation, including portfolio updates, prioritization summaries, decision briefs, risk and dependency assessments, value measurement summaries, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Record and monitor leadership decisions, unresolved issues, assumptions, accountable owners, due dates, and follow-up actions.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement in toll gates, approvals, readiness reviews, and decision-making forums.
• Track cross-functional dependencies and escalate significant risks, timing issues, or sequencing conflicts.
• Collaborate with clinical design and delivery partners regarding workflow, clinical excellence, safety, adoption, implementation readiness, and measurement considerations.
• Apply portfolio criteria, investment logic, governance requirements, and value-realization practices.
• Enhance templates, processes, artifacts, forums, reporting routines, and systems of record.
• Create concise executive communications that synthesize complex work into progress updates, risks, trade-offs, decisions required, and value-oriented recommendations.
• Report to the Principal, Enterprise Clinical Programs – Technology + AI Strategic Initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Extensive experience: 5+ years in portfolio management, program management, PMO leadership, strategy execution, transformation, or complex enterprise initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple interdependent workstreams within a highly matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with portfolio governance, integrated planning, executive reporting, dependency management, risk escalation, and decision tracking.
• Strong skills in facilitation, synthesis, written communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to convert established strategy and leadership decisions into coordinated plans, milestones, ownership, and execution visibility.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity while upholding disciplined processes and ensuring transparent follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to simplify complex topics into clear, actionable insights for executive and cross-functional audiences.
• If working remotely either occasionally or permanently, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required.
• An advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, payer, clinical, digital health, data, analytics, or artificial intelligence is preferred.
• Experience in regulated or clinically sensitive environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, clinical governance, value realization, or measurement planning is preferred.
• Portfolio, program, project, agile, change-management, or process-improvement credentials are preferred.
