Senior Actuarial Analyst – Risk Adjustment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business principles to assess financial outcomes.

• Aid in the development of analyses involving statistical data and other relevant information.

• Examine and appraise necessary premium rates.

• Evaluate cash reserves and liabilities to facilitate the payment of future benefits.

• Create and execute data reports.

• Assist in determining the fair basis for allocating funds for insurance benefits.

• Support risk adjustment initiatives through precise capture, validation, and reporting of member health conditions.

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and coding teams to enhance documentation accuracy and uphold regulatory compliance.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• The combination of years of experience and passed actuarial exams must total at least 5 under the Rule of 5.

• Experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in Medicare Advantage, ACA, or Risk Adjustment.

• Proficient in advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power BI, and Excel queries.

• Preferred coding experience with SQL, SAS, R, or similar tools.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• The ideal schedule aligns with Central or Eastern Time zones.
