This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operate and manage actuarial models within designated areas under the guidance of actuarial personnel.
• Conduct actuarial research and evaluate results to support actuarial functions.
• Prepare, analyze, and convey actuarial calculations and findings pertinent to product pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
• Collect, analyze, and report data utilized in actuarial processes.
• Generate reports and present results and findings to actuarial personnel.
• Execute designated tasks within established guidelines, priorities, and timeframes.
• Cultivate awareness of the time and expenses associated with assigned work.
• Address standard inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues and business units across the organization.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics is required.
• Completion of 2–4 actuarial exams towards the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.
• 0–2 years of relevant actuarial or related experience.
• Fundamental or conceptual understanding of actuarial principles and practices.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access.
• Basic proficiency in VBA.
• Basic proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Capability to operate within established guidelines and direction to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to evolving events and priorities.
• Proven accountability and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to develop collaborative and cooperative working relationships while effectively managing conflict.
• Applicants must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is not available.
