📋 Description

• Evaluate financial and business risks, with an emphasis on quarterly forecasting and monthly valuations.

• Deliver analytical and reporting assistance for the Part D Business.

• Model and assess risks related to Individual and Group MAPD, SNP, and PDP products.

• Examine the implications of proposed legislative or regulatory changes in collaboration with business partners.

• Contribute to monthly financial reporting and analyze variances against recent forecasts.

• Work in partnership with Actuarial, Government Affairs, Finance, Product, and Underwriting teams.

• Take ownership of assigned projects, manage timelines, and complete tasks independently.

• Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned projects and related concepts.

• Integrate individual outcomes with the work completed by others.

• Identify issues that significantly impact financial outcomes and formulate recommendations for valuation and resolution.

• Utilize technical skills and critical thinking to design and implement business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 SOA exams completed, actively pursuing ASA designation.

• Over 2 years of relevant experience.

• Background in Health Insurance is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience handling large and detailed data sets.

• Strong skills in communication and collaboration.

• Solid technical and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree is essential.

• Prior experience in Financial Reporting is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, Python, and/or Power BI is advantageous.

• Previous experience in Medicare Part D or Pharmacy is desirable.
