This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and disseminate routine reports to facilitate risk adjustment actuarial best estimate calculations and financial reporting.

• Extract and consolidate information from various systems to aid executive decision-making.

• Conduct research and develop reports and analyses for senior management; effectively communicate the results.

• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and filings related to risk adjustment.

• Develop risk score reporting using Cozeva, internal claims, and Power BI, while organizing and managing extensive and diverse datasets, analyzing healthcare data for decision support, and conveying findings.

• Collaborate with operational teams to analyze, comprehend, modify, and communicate models and their outcomes.

• Provide recommendations to management based on pertinent findings.

• Utilize Power BI to present relevant reporting within a scheduled refresh cycle.

• Analyze key trends and performance metrics related to clinical programs, provider network performance, and other healthcare practices.

• Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior actuarial analysts, including prioritizing work and projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as accounting, engineering, economics, finance, statistics, or mathematics from an accredited institution or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with data and actuarial models.

• At least 5 years of experience with managed care applications such as GE Centricity, Epic, Cerner, etc.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a hospital, health plan, or managed care setting.

• At least 5 years of experience in financial modeling for payer and provider negotiations and medical cost management strategies.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a rapid-cycle, decision support role within a highly dynamic environment.
