Associate Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the structuring and placement of reinsurance programs.

• Evaluate client portfolios to guide pricing, structuring, and strategic advice.

• Create clear, concise, and high-quality analytical documents for client meetings.

• Work collaboratively with brokers, clients, and reinsurers to facilitate transactions.

• Offer insights on portfolio performance and aid in ongoing client advisory services.

• Play a key role in the development and improvement of actuarial models and analytical tools.

• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate the skills of junior analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in actuarial or comparable analytical positions.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Desirable programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar).

• Knowledge of reinsurance structures, pricing, and capital management is a plus.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• Experience in mentoring or supporting junior team members is advantageous.
