This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulates actionable insights for management based on comprehensive analysis.
• Computes profitability reports for relevant business segments.
• Conducts regular and ad-hoc analyses to discover opportunities for enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepares the monthly assessment of the company's Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserves.
• Assesses the government reimbursement process to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Engages in initiatives aimed at improving operational outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency in databases (SAS or Access) is preferred.
• Experience in Managed Care or the healthcare sector is preferred.
• A minimum of one exam passed under the Society of Actuaries Exam Syllabus is required.
• Active pursuit of an actuarial designation (ASA) is mandatory.
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation tools is needed.
